Tonight, I was lucky enough to see Glenn Jones perform for a fourth time. His American Primitive guitar style is mesmerizing and no one can play guitar like he does—no one. His storytelling is expressed by both 12 and 6-string guitars and his trusty banjo.
This is the story of the rebirth of Rock and Roll in New York City (2001–2011) and it’s a fascinating read detailing the resurrection of the New York rock scene in the new millennium. The book was written by music journalist Lizzy Goodman and it was published in the spring of 2017.
