Wilco at NH Pavilion

For the second year in a row, I’ve seen Wilco perform on Jeff Tweedy’s birthday. He reminded the crowd after each song, too. This time, the venue was The Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion, an outdoor amphitheater located near Lake Winnipesaukee in Gilford, New Hampshire. One of the final dates of their Cruel Country summer tour.

The Wall itself stretched across the entire outfield and made the “Green Monster” look like its smaller younger brother. The acoustics, which are known to be difficult and “delay-ridden” at Fenway due to the unique design of the park, were amazing and our seats in the 13th row put us squarely in the belly of the beast.
