Wilco, Live in New Hampshire!

By Jason Boucher

For the second year in a row, I’ve seen Wilco perform on Jeff Tweedy’s birthday. He reminded the crowd after each song, too. This time, the venue was The Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion, an outdoor amphitheater located near Lake Winnipesaukee in Gilford, New Hampshire. One of the final dates of their Cruel Country summer tour.

As usual, Wilco played over two hours and played new tracks from their ‘Cruel Country’ album, but dipped into crowd favorites, too. It’s always a pleasure watching arguably the best guitarist in rock music today play an 8-minute solo during Impossible, Germany. Nels Cline is a national treasure. Not familiar? Watch the video below, after the setlist.
